Lovestruck.us ("we," "us," "this site") is a static website with no user accounts, no comment system, and no first-party tracking or advertising scripts. This page explains, plainly, what little data does pass through the site and why.

Hosting logs

This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like virtually any web host, GitHub's infrastructure may log standard technical information for security and reliability purposes — such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps — as part of normal server operation. We do not have access to personally identifying analytics beyond what GitHub's own hosting infrastructure provides, and we do not run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any comparable tracking service on this site.

Cookies

We do not set first-party cookies. If you click through to an affiliate merchant (such as Amazon), that merchant's own site may set cookies in accordance with its own privacy policy, which is entirely separate from ours — we encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit after clicking a link from here.

Affiliate links

Some articles contain affiliate links, primarily through the Amazon Associates program. Clicking these links takes you to a third-party retailer's site, which has its own privacy practices independent of ours. See our Affiliate Disclosure for more on how and why we use these links.

Data we collect directly

We do not currently operate any forms, newsletters, or account systems that collect personal information directly from visitors. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated to describe exactly what's collected, why, and how it's handled, before any such feature goes live.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Since this is a small, independently run site, changes will generally be simple, plain-language updates rather than long legal amendments.
